She and him act by default. Their connection can be seen hanging on his neck.

There was no time for a them- there never was.
If she did have emotions, would he inevitably break her heart?
Strange that they are put in situations where one must eliminate the other. The future can only tell whether they will be the death of one another.
She has circuits. He can be bleed. They are different; this can only end tragically. It doesn’t matter how many times they’ve saved each other.
